This application serves as a proficient tool for measuring altitude, either at one's current location or at various specified points. It presents users with two distinct measurement modes: Map Measurement Mode and GNSS Mode.

Map Measurement Mode:

Upon launching the application, users are defaulted to this mode. It calculates the altitude based on the center position of a map using a digital elevation model (DEM). The app relies on SRTM30 V2 data for altitude measurements. Additionally, if the user enables the "Use GSI’s API" option in the settings, it can access GSI’s API to retrieve altitude information from Fundamental Geospatial Data (FGD) specifically within Japan.

GNSS Mode:

Users can access GNSS Mode by tapping the “Get GNSS Altitude” button. In this mode, altitude is determined using Global Navigation Satellite System data. For those utilizing an iPhone 3GS or earlier models, the resulting value reflects the ellipsoidal height.

Settings:

• Unit: Select between Meter and Foot for altitude measurements.
• Special Datum: Options include Default (MSL), A.P. (Arakawa), Y.P., O.P., K.P., S.P., A.P. (Yoshinogawa), T.P.W., and B.S.L.
• Coordinate System: Opt for “Japan Plane Rectangular Coordinate System” as an alternative to Latitude-Longitude.
• Display Address: This toggle allows users to display either the address of their current location or coordinates when turned off.
• Use GSI’s API: As previously noted, enabling this enhances altitude data retrieval.
• Use GSI Tiles: Users can select GSI tiles instead of defaulting to Apple Maps.
• Update to Map Coordinates: Automatically refreshes coordinates on the “Move Anywhere” page to align with the current position on maps.
• Use Light Mode for Maps: Ensures that maps are displayed in Light Mode, regardless of the overarching Dark Mode setting.

About URL Scheme:

• Format: alt://lat/long
• lat: Latitude (double value)
• long: Longitude (double value)

If latitude exceeds the range of ±90 degrees, it will default to displaying both latitude and longitude values accordingly.
